Oromia Physicians Association has held its 4th annual conference on February 19th 2022 with a theme of “Resilient health system in conflict affected areas”. Our conference, attended by our esteemed members, government authorities, guests, media personnel and entrepreneurs, has managed to bring main health sector actors of the region together and discuss on contemporary challenges. On this event, a number of pressing health issues have been raised and ways forward have been pointed out from the general assembly.
Individuals and institutions that have tremendously contributed to the betterment of health service delivery have received recognition awards.
As Oromia Physicians Association strives to drive changes pertaining to our communities’ health, the successes we celebrated, the promises we have renewed, the motivation that we have collected and the new connections we established with many more organizations on this conference have laid a newer and greater foundation of commitment.
As such, we would like to thank every individual and organization who made this conference happen in such a successful manner.
